THERAPIST BIO

Latoya Grandy-Walker is a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) specializing in individual, family and couple’s therapy.  Grandy-Walker is also a Certified Anger Management Specialist (CAMS-II).  She received her Bachelor's in Sociology from Eastern Connecticut State University.   She went on to receive her Master's in Social Work from Clark Atlanta University.  With over 10 years of therapeutic experience, she is currently serving her community as a private practitioner in Conyers, Georgia.  Among her areas of expertise are depression, anxiety, sexual abuse, psychotic symptoms and other behavioral and emotional health issues.  Her primary focus is to build a therapeutic alliance with her clients to aid them in working towards wellness.

Grandy-Walker is an interactive, dialectical behavioral therapist.  Her therapeutic approach is to provide support, empowerment and therapeutic guidance to help clients address personal life challenges.  She integrates methodologies and therapeutic techniques to offer individualized treatment to each client. She believes no one is exempt from life's circumstance and working toward mental wellness is something everyone needs at one time or another in life.  With compassion and understanding, she is committed to working with each individual client to help them identify and build on their strengths and working toward achieving personal growth.
